Matriculation evaluation begins 13 thousand teachers engaged in 56 centres

Evaluation of answer-sheets of High School Certificate examinations, conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, will begin today.
BSE sources said evaluation will be held at 56 centres across the State and continue till April 15. More than 13,000 teachers have been engaged in evaluation work this year.

“Enrolled teachers have already reached evaluation centres. Evaluation will start at 9 am today. All basic facilities like drinking water have been made available. Evaluators will not be allowed to take mobile phones with them to the hall,” said a BSE official.

It may be noted that Class X Summative-II examinations, were held from March 10 to 17.

While more than 5 Lakh students had been enrolled to appear for the test, 18,000 of them did not turn up to examination centres, reasons behind which are yet to be known.
