Bhubaneswar, Mar 28: In anticipation of more threat from COVID 19 in the days to come, the Odisha government has now sought help from qualified health professionals having expertise in their areas of healthcare, international logistics and others.
In a public notification issued by the Chief Secretary of the government applications are now invited for appointment of the experts in the management sector to fight together against COVID 19.
A statement from the government said, “The State Government has invited Expression of Interest(EoI) from Senior Professionals with long working experience in large corporate health care sectors, hospital infrastructure and management, international logistics and sourcing of equipment, accessories and materials and also exposure to working with Government, Public and Charitable Sectors,”
It also added, “Such individuals will be engaged as Honourary Advisors to work with the Government. In this regard, interested persons are requested to contact OSD to Chief Secretary. They will be required to assist the government at senior management level.”
On the other hand the notice issued by Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy said, “The evolving scenario presents dynamic challenges which calls for highest level of professionalism. We have witnessed overwhelming interest from senior professionals across the globe to lend their expertise on a voluntary basis to the efforts of the state government.”
